Abstract

The Leadership Practices Inventory and Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire were completed by 27 of 41 4-H and Youth Development extension agents. Respondents' use of both transactional and transformational leadership practices was average, with nearly equal usage of both leadership approaches. Development of transformational leadership qualities was recommended.
