Abstract | To successfully access website and application information, people with disabilities depend on technologies that adhere to specific design principles and standards that can increase usability for everyone. Notes | The article tells the story of one of the authors, Lucy Greco, the web accessibility evangelist at the University of California, Berkeley. Since she was born to be blind, reading technologies for her are the liberation. From a very young age, she had been using a variety of accessibility tools constantly developing and increasingly provide her with more flexibility of doing research on her own. |
