Abstract

Does living in rural areas and having been a member of a 4-H club translate into adult use of agricultural education in urban areas in all four program areas. Data came from a national telephone survey conducted in 1982. Findings suggest that the movement of people from rural to urban centers has stimulated increased agricultural education use in the urban areas and that past involvement in the 4-H youth program leads to continued use of all agricultural education program.
Summary: In short, the future of agricultural education may well be the 4-Hers of today.
