An analysis of farmers' soil testing practices in three Louisiana parishes

The study examined the soil testing practices of farmers in Northeast Louisiana to determine whether there have been changes in soil fertility levels in the Franklin, Morehous and Tensas Parishes between 1964-7 and 1982-1983. Among other findings, farmers who had been active in 4-H and/or FFA soil sampled more often than farmers who had not been active in these organizations.
