Abstract

The purpose of this study was to explore the demographic characteristics that predict persistence among intermediate 4-H members in Iowa. Membership data were evaluated from the 2009-2010 and 2010-2011 membership years. High persistence was associated from members from rural areas, under 10,000 in population or a farm.
