| Abstract |
A curriculum evaluation model was developed and tested during a 4-H curriculum pilot test. The model was developed and tested during a 4-H curriculum pilot test regarding the effectiveness of new 4-H member activity manuals and leader guides. One sixth of the member population was surveyed and another one sixth was interviewed. Ten leaders from each county were surveyed and five were interviewed. All of the extension educators were interviewed. Dissemination reports were submitted to the curriculum coordinators heading each project and these coordinators were interviewed to assess the curriculum evaluation model. It was found that the model needed refinement and a more in-depth analysis of the results might prove insight into confounding factors such as the fear of change and weakness of implementation procedures. |
