Abstract | This study examined how youth-related organizations communicate with young members through social media in order to educate them and how young users perceive the effect and impact of such communication on their development. The results showed that 4-H Facebook posts increased the organizations interaction with its young members by building more connections and facilitating positive development of youth. Strategic communications through social media can increase interactions and potentially impact the development of positive traits that will aid youth in becoming more active and responsible citizens. |
