Abstract

The purpose was to determine if the 4-H life skills approach to leadership development as presented through Southern region 4-H leadership life skills materials, was more effective method of teaching skills that are necessary to perform leadership roles than current methods. There was found to be an apparent difference between the pre and posttests on leadership life skills for participating youth. It was concluded that the southern region's approach was a more effective method.
