Abstract

4-H Study of Positive Youth Development. Four sets of two-level multilevel regression models were conducted with the outcome variables of youth social conscience, youth civic ability, youth civic behavior and youth civic information. The analyses involving parental monitoring found that as parental monitoring increased for females, social conscience and civic information scores increased, but for males, these factors decreased.
