Abstract

The qualitative, non-experimental descriptive study measured how being an alumni of the Texas 4-H program influenced their current decisions toward community involvement. The alums were former Texas 4-H member 18 years and older. The study confirmed that alums stayed involved in community organizations (4-H, church, and fair board) and held leadership positions (mostly president and secretary).
