Abstract

A 4-H impact evaluation conducted in Montana, Idaho, Colorado, and Utah was replicated in the Nevada public schools.

For the independent variables: Age, gender 4-H partcipation and population density, revealed that 4-H participation significantly contributed to the variance in extracurricular activity involvement, school leadership positions held, caring for others and self-conficence, character and empowerment.
