Abstract

Local governing bodies thought 4-H was very important to the development of people in Louisiana. Awareness of the effectiveness of programs and services correlated with higher levels of perception. Researcher recommends that 4-H agents invite members of governing bodies to 4-H events more often. The perception of the 4-H program may have a positive effect on how local governing members perceive the Louisiana Cooperative Extension as a whole.
