Abstract
A study of agriculture students enrolled in a college or school of agriculture at a southern land-grant institution. Agriculture, particularly farming has traditionally been marked by intergenerational transfer of occupational status through various stages, begining with a youth's entry into the 4-H program and/or enrollment in high school vocational agriculture courses.
