Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine factors that facilitate camp counselor and leadership skills. The factor most influential to a change in leadership and group facilitation skills was the amount of time one spent in practicing these skills at camp. Age and years of experience as a camp counselor played a distinct role.

While the amount of training was not found to be as important, without proper training in leadership, counselors were less prone to practice these skills.
