Abstract | Study sought to determine if descritpive factors of work-family role integration would be more predictive of rural mothers' satisfaction than that of urban employed mothers. Sample surveyed by mailed questionnaire comprised 237 rural and urban employed mothers, selected from 4-H membership lists in Ohio. Job-related variables were found to be more predictive of rural employed mother's life stisfaction than those varioables of social-psychological support traditionally associated with the successful enactment of work and family roles. |
