Abstract

This study investigated the relationship between performance appraisal scores (dependent variable) and three independent variables: grade point average, job related applicant evaluation form and personality traits measured by the California Psychological Inventory. There were 51 subjects in the study. Data were obtained from selected agents and by administering the inventory. Data were analyzed using linear correlations and multiple regression analysis. A significant relationship (.01) between grade point average and performance appraisal for assistant county agents-home economics (4-H) and for all females included in the study.
No other significant relationships were found.
