Abstract | Web accessibility is subject to the paradigm of convergence. The web plays a crucial role in this paradigm. Increasingly, it becomes a platform for an ecosystem where users with different products, services, and activities work together organically and complement each other. To cope with this complex system I suggest Holistic Web Accessibility through design, which converges Technology with Activity in designing for seamless product ecosystems and holistic human experiences. |
Notes | This article focused on web accessibility of constructing better ecosystems for users with different products. A "Holistic Web Accessibility" idea was proposed to promote seamless product user experience. It should serve as a whole new entry point to study web accessibility issues, and web developers could learn something from the framework this article presented. |
