Impact of web accessibility barriers on users with hearing Impairment

This article points out that apart from people with visual disabilities, those with hearing impairment are also afflicted with web accessibility barriers. The study result contributes to emphasizing not only the importance of online contents with plain language, but the necessity of captions and sign language alternatives in videos for users with hearing impairment as well so that they would obtain better user experience.
