Part 4: This fourth segment features Dr. Roger K. Summit, who was responsible for design and development in 1966 of the first large-scale, computer-based interactive information retrieval system. Called Dialog, it was used as the basis for Dialog Information Services [http://www.dialog.com], established in 1972. Dr. Summit remained president until his retirement in 1991 and is currently chairman emeritus of Dialog. He was interviewed in Mountain View, California, in April 2000.},
