Abstract
A questionnaire was distributed to some students and professional and academic staff concerned with library and information studies. Replies suggest that the situation of bibliography in Saudi Arabia seems to be unsatisfactory. It is recommended that serious steps should be taken to establish a national bibliographic centre which could coordinate the country's bibliographic activities and encourage cooperation between government agencies and departments. Also, a library and information association needs to be established for Saudi librarians and information scientists to evaluate and develop library and information services in the Kingdom.
