Annotation
Explores where and how Chaucer obtained his copy of Boccaccio's Teseida. Examines two previously unknown manuscripts of the Teseida that were in the Visconti collection at Pavia. Speculates that one of them may have been the basis of Chaucer's copy of the work examined during a 1378 trip to Lombardy.
