George Watson Cole, 1850-1939

Cole library career included working at the Pratt Institute, the Newberry Library, the Huntington Library, and the Free Library of Jersey City. He was president of the Bibliographical Society of America from 1916-1921.
In 1999 Cole was included on the list of "100 of the Most Important Leaders we had in the 20th century" published by American Libraries.
