LHRT: The Importance of Our History

Personal essay published as part of an effort to document the recent history of the Library History Round Table on the occasion of its seventy-fifth anniversary in 2022. Round table members, leaders, and scholars were encouraged to share their personal accounts of key initiatives, events, moments, or people in LHRT’s history. The author the highlights the important role of LHRT in providing mentors to developing scholars and shares how friendships and connections made through LHRT informed and shaped her own scholarly contributions.
