Library History as a Community

Personal essay published as part of an effort to document the recent history of the Library History Round Table on the occasion of its seventy-fifth anniversary in 2022. Round table members, leaders, and scholars were encouraged to share their personal accounts of key initiatives, events, moments, or people in LHRT’s history. The author uses the opportunity to reflect on reflects on how LHRT has (and sometimes has not) offereed meaningful benefits to all types of members.
