Remembering LHRT

Personal essay published as part of an effort to document the recent history of the Library History Round Table (LHRT) on the occasion of LHRT's seventy-fifth anniversary in 2022. Round table members, leaders, and scholars were encouraged to share their personal accounts of key initiatives, events, moments, or people in LHRT’s history. The author reflects on his involvement with LHRT over many decades and what he views as the limited relationship librarians have with their history.
