Thomas Hunt and the Oxford Book-Business in the Late Fifteenth Century

Thomas Hunt may be described as the first publisher of printed books in Oxford [England]. He was also one of the four official stationers to the medieval university. This note assembles the known facts of Hunt’s career. The paper was found among the papers of the late Professor Malcolm Parkes and is published posthumously.
