  abstract = {<p>In this paper the author discusses the agroforestry practices in different agro-climatic zones in Rajashthan. Six benefits were listed for the reason agroforestry techniques were needed:</p><ol><li>meeting fuel requirements,</li><li>fencing materials,</li><li>construction of lodging,</li><li>fodder,</li><li>food for human consumption, and</li><li>protection against soil erosion and green manure.</li></ol><p>The author then discusses in detail the types of trees used to meet the communities specific needs, in particular the Bordi and Khehri species.</p>},
