| Abstract |
The general objective of this paper is to discuss the problem of the development of appropriate agrarian technologies in and for the rural Caribbean, and the design of outreach mechanisms to accelerate the diffusion of these technologies once developed. There are two conceptually separate subsequent outreach strategies designed to ensure that the technologies are made available to the population at large.
