| Abstract | This document looks at the scope of ICRAF's agroforestry research of the past and for the future. It highlights that: "It is ICRAF's prime objective to serve people in solving their problems and in exploring and upgrading hitherto underutilized potentials." It also looks at the fact that, "previous rural development schemes and programs have failed because they did not fully incorporate the people involved." Ways in which agroforestry can be incorporated into programs that work are also discussed. |
