Abstract |
This is an excerpt from a book about the leucaena tree (L. pulverulenta & L. leucocephala). This tree can grow in many types of soil and compliments other crops (corn, bananas, etc.) with its production of soil nutrients. Leucaena trees are very good at fixing nitrogen in temporarily farmed-out land.
