RN - Chester Aaron (1923-2019) graduated from Butler High School in 1941 before earning degrees from UCLA and the University of California at Berkeley. He joined the U.S. Army and his unit was part of the liberation of Jews in the Dachau Concentration Camp. Aaron taught English at Saint Mary's College, retiring in 1997. For years he was an expert garlic farmer in Sonoma County, California.
