RN - Tamar Myers (1948— ), born and raised by Mennonite missionary parents in the Belgian Congo, arrived in the United States at age 16. As a college student she began to submit novel manuscripts for publication; 23 years later <em>Too Many Crooks</em>, her first, was published by Doubleday. Her other mystery series takes place in Charlotte, North Carolina, where she now lives with her husband and pets.
