RN - Susan Kimmel Wright (1950— ), born in Somerset, attended Shanksville-Stonycreek School. She studied writing at the University of Pittsburgh (1971) and law at Duquesne University (1976). An attorney and writer of children's books, Wright lives in Bridgeville, Allegheny County. All three of her children's novels are published by Herald Press, a Mennonite publishing house in Scottdale, Westmoreland County.
