Author Biography |
Playwright John Rennick Steele (1948- ) graduated from Ohio State University and UCLA. He claims ancestry with Cherokee leader Nancy War and James Steel, a Revolutionary soldier and county ranger of Mt. Pleasant, Westmoreland County. In 1989, he and his wife Marushka established the Freeport Theatre Festival in Allegheny Twp., Westmoreland County.
