Abstract |
After an explosion behind Essene Settlement House kills a Westinghouse engineer, Milo Kachigan and Helen Sorby investigate. Helen goes undercover as a Westinghouse secretary in order to solve the crime, and George Westinghouse himself has a cameo role. This case leads them up and down Pittsburgh's rail lines, the East Pittsburgh Valley, and a vast Westinghouse Corporation.

Author Biography |
Karen Rose Cercone (1957— ) co-wrote a dozen Star Trek novels under the pseudonym “L. A. Graf,” which stands cleverly for “Let's All Get Rich and Famous.” Cercone, who holds a PhD in geoscience, earns her living as a professor at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She also holds a MFA from the University of Pittsburgh Writing Program. She lives in Trafford, Westmoreland County. |
