Abstract |
Dee Armstrong, a first-year journalism student at Pitt, is inspired to re-investigate the 1902 jailbreak of the notorious Biddle Brothers with help from the prison warden's wife, Kate Soffel. The young reporter learns Mrs. Soffel kept a secret prison diary and she sets out to find it despite many obstacles.
