Barbara Jean Miller (1947- ), a novelist from Mt. Pleasant, Westmoreland County, earned a BA and MLS at the University of Pittsburgh. She is a reference librarian at Mt. Pleasant Free Public Library and also teaches in the Writing Popular Fiction MFA Program at Seton Hill University.
