Abstract
A film adaptation of the 2005 novel in which Tess DeNunzio (Sadie Sink), 15, is wracked with guilt after losing her younger sister in a hit-and-run accident on September 11, 2001.
Notes
Based on the 2005 novel of the same name by Philip Beard (1963- ). Filming locations included Kennywood Park in West Mifflin, Allegheny County, as well as Pittsburgh's North Shore, Strip District, and Squirrel Hill neighborhoods.
Author Biography
Melissa Martin (1962- ), who holds an MFA in playwriting from Carnegie Mellon University, is a writer, producer, and film director. She lives in Mt. Lebanon, Allegheny County. Marc Lhormer, born in Pittsburgh, earned a bachelor's degree from Yale University and an MBA from Stanford. He is a writer, producer, and film festival creator and executive. He lives in Sonoma, California with his wife, Brenda.
