Joanne Rocklin (1946- ), born and raised in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, is the author of over 20 children’s books. She has a doctorate in psychology, is a former elementary school teacher, and taught a class on writing children’s books at UCLA. She lives in Oakland, California.
