Author Biography
Eunice Loncoskey McCloskey (1904-1983), born in Johnsonburg, Elk County, briefly studied poetry and English at Columbia University. She published 17 books, mostly poetry, but is best remembered as a prolific painter (with over 4,000 paintings) and the Grandma Moses of Pennsylvania. She died in Ridgway, Elk County.
