Nicholas Shebellko was a Carpatho-Rusyn coal miner cut down during the little-remembered Cliftonville Mine Battle of 1922 that took place on the state line between Avella, Washington County, and Wellsburg, West Virginia. Eight decades later, Joe Bailey communicates with Shebellko’s ghost and tries to right wrongs from the past.
