Kelly Braffet (1976- ), born in Long Beach, California and raised in Greensburg, Westmoreland County, was educated at Greensburg Salem High School, Sarah Lawrence College, and Columbia University. She is the author of three novels and lives with her writer-husband Owen King (son of horror novelist Stephen King) in Upstate New York.
