A film adaptation of Conrad Richter’s 1953 novel in which Lenape Indians abduct young John Butler (James McArthur) from Central Pennsylvania and raise him in Ohio as a chief’s son. After Pontiac’s Rebellion, Henry Bouquet (Stephen Bekassy) rescues Butler, now 15, and returns him to Ft.
