Author Biography |
Virginia Sorensen (1912-91), born in Provo, Utah and a graduate of Brigham Young University, wrote fiction for both adults and children. In the 1950s she lived in Edinboro, Erie County, where her husband Frederick Sorensen was a professor of English, and there she wrote two novels with Western Pennsylvania settings, Miracles on Maple Hill and Plain Girl. Joe Krush (1918-2022) and Beth Krush (1918-2009) were a husband-and-wife team of children's book illustrators. |
