Abstract

Leigh Koslow, a downsized copywriter turning 30, who moves into a Victorian house refurbished by her pregnant cousin Cara, who longs for company because her husband is away on business. Koslow discovers a corpse, surprisingly, in the backyard hammock. Leigh’s neighbors warn her about the house’s cryptic history. She learns that two deaths transpired at this address in 1949 and she digs hard to connect the cadavers.
