Abstract |
A melodramatic silent film adaptation of the stage play, Just a Woman (1916), in which Anna Stanley, a Pittsburgh housewife, helps her simpleton husband Jim rise to director of a steel company. The new wealth drives Jim into an affair, but all ends well as when Jim returns to Anna and admits she's “more than just a woman.”
