Abstract |
Terry Reynolds, 29, works for the maintenance department of Carnegie Mellon University, but he suffers from a sports gambling addiction. When he strangely time warps in a Carnegie Mellon scientist’s office to the year 1960, Terry seeks to solve his financial problems by betting on the World Series underdogs, the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Paul F. Kennedy (1950— ) was born and raised in Pittsburgh's Lawrenceville and Point Breeze neighborhoods. He graduated from Pittsburgh Central Catholic High School, Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and Carnegie Mellon University.
