Abstract |
Nicholas Bryson, a now-retired CIA operative, lives in bucolic Western Pennsylvania where he teaches Byzantine history at a fictitious small college. When the CIA drops into the Allegheny Mountains—dramatically by helicopter on Bryson's quaint home—he is called back to his role as international spy and must re-infiltrate his former intelligence group that has now turned evil.
