Michael John Schultz earned a PhD from the University of Pittsburgh. A scholar of the Civilian Conservation Corps, he and his wife established the Michael and Marie T. Schultz Collection of CCC Memorabilia at the Friends of Hanley Library Archive Room at the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford.
