Opal Wheeler (1897-1987) studied music at Columbia University, the University of Washington, and the University of Wisconsin. She wrote 20 biographical novels for children about musicians from Bach and Beethoven to Schumann. Mary Greenwalt Hickerson was an illustrator and painter. She lived in Westchester County, New York. |
